Millions of Cats!

"Cats here, cats there,
Cats and kittens everywhere,
Hundreds of cats,
Thousands of cats,
Millions and billions and trillions of cats."

"Millions of Cats" is (as you could guess) a favorite book of the #CatsOfJerusalem !
It is also the oldest American picture book still in print.

Spring is almost sprung in Jerusalem this week, which means the street cats are out and about. I took so many photos this week that they don't form any kind of theme at all.

Just: Cats here, cats there, cats and kittens everywhere! Enjoy!

Cattitude in Akka: Possibly my favorite cat ever

Today's #CatsOfJerusalem post is not from Jerusalem at all, but from Akka/Akko.

Akka is truly gorgeous (see last photos, sans cats!)

But this cat may be my FAVORITE. CAT. EVER.

Just look at his CATTITUDE.

No. Effs. Given.
NONE.
Over it.

I salute you, Oh #CatOfAkka.

Cats of Jaffa

The kids had parent-teacher conferences today, but I decided parent-child-sea-beach conferences were more important.
Much to my delight, we met several #catsofjaffa today in the Port of Jaffa!

This Jaffa Cat was uninterested in us, and in fact ran away just after this. This is just in front of the "Mosque of the Sea" in Jaffa.

Cats of Jaffa, just chilling on the dock.

In the Jaffa flea market. The owner of the shop ran over shortly after this and yelled at me for taking pictures of her cats without buying something.

Just ask this cute one!

"Unless that phone is made of tuna..."

These are 2 of several street cats who are fed by a leather worker in the Muristan. My colleague tells me they are all waiting at the door in the early morning for breakfast. Today, I discovered they also gather for afternoon snack!
